The Nutcracker Auditions
The Ballet and Performing Arts Centre performs The Nutcracker every December. This special tradition is a large scale production and is a great experience for our dancers. Students at any level may audition for a role. We perform two shows. We host a field trip for local students and perform an abbreviated version in the morning. The evening show consists of our full performance.
Please use the link below to register for our 2026 Nutcracker Auditions on Monday, August 17 from 5:00-6:30. Auditions are required for our Level 1 and Company students who would like to participate in our Nutcracker performance. Note that Company members will be Flowers and have Flowers rehearsal after their ballet class on Tuesday. Our Preschool, Level 3, and Level 2 dancers will learn one Nutcracker dance in their weekly technique class. Level 3 and Level 2 dancers may audition for an additional role, which would require an additional rehearsal time during the week. Rehearsal times can vary between 30 and 45 minutes.
Our Nutcracker performance will be on Friday, December 4, 2026 at The Brock Performing Arts Center.
