Student of the Month

Keeghan

We are so happy for Keeghan, our Company member Student of the Month! Keeghan is 18 years old and is a Senior at Mt. Tabor High School. Keeghan has been a beloved member of our studio for many years, and we are extremely proud of all her accomplishments. She began as a quiet, shy student and has developed into a confident leader. All of our dancers look up to her and admire her grace and beauty on stage. Keeghan, your BPAC family is proud of your next journey in life, and we wish you all the best!

Keeghan plans to attend UNC Charlotte in the Fall and major in business. She will be joining a dance club to continue her passion and love for dance.

Here is what Keeghan said about why she likes to dance:

“I like to dance because it’s a way to express myself in a different environment. You can always keep growing and advance to the next level. Dance is a challenge, and I like that it pushes myself to achieve new goals. I like ballet and lyrical. I love the flow nature of lyrical because it fits my personality. Ballet is always a challenge.

I like dancing at BPAC because it has a smaller environment that allows for more one-on-one attention. I receive personalized corrections to improve my technique and showcase my talents. Performing The Nutcracker every December is unique to BPAC. I like how we focus on ballet, while embracing other styles of dance.”

Garrett

Garrett is our Level 1 representative for Student of the Month. Garrett is in the 7th grade and attends Paisley Middle School. Garrett takes initiative in class to rehearse his dances and improve his technique. This has been a year of growth as he has matured in his dancing. We are proud of your hard work. Way to go, Garrett!

When asked why he loves to dance, Garrett said: “I like dancing because I like challenging myself. I like moving around and being active. Dance keeps me light on my feet and helps me with soccer. My favorite style of dance is jazz and tap. Tap is more light-hearted. I like the sharp movements of jazz. I like the teachers at BPAC. I think they are good at what they do, but they are not that strict. Dance is taken seriously here, but the environment is loose.”

Isabella

Isabella is a Level 2 dancer and is excited to be Student of the Month! Isabella is in the first grade at Speas Elementary School. Isabella is a true fashionista and loves all things with glitter and bright colors. She loves to express her creativity through dance. She shows kindness and respect to her friends and teachers. Congratulations, Isabella!

Here’s what Isabella said about dance: “I love to dance! I learn that I can become a better dancer. My friends really like me. I like dancing to ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ because it’s really moveable. I really like Ms. Meghan. BPAC is really fun!”

Braelynn

Last but not least, Braelynn is our Preschool representative for Student of the Month! Braelynn is the perfect mixture of sassy and sweet! She is always ready for a dance party. Dance makes Braelynn happy, and Braelynn makes us happy! We love you, Braelynn!

Braelynn said this about dancing: “I love dancing. I like to play games at dance class. I like jazz because it’s fun. I like making poses and doing sassy walks. I like holding hands with my friends.”
