Student of the Month
Juliette
We are so happy for Juliette, our Company member Student of the Month! Juliette is a Freshman and attends Reagan High School. Juliette joined the Company level in August and is always game for new challenges. Juliette is dedicated to dance and does her stretches and strengthening exercises at home. Here dedication inspires the other dancers at the studio. Juliette also assists the Level 2 dance classes and is a huge help to the instructors. Juliette, your BPAC family is proud of your excellence in dance.
Here is what Juliette said about why she likes to dance:
“I love to dance because you can express yourself in a creative way. My favorite style of dance is jazz because you can focus on technique while showing different emotions. I love dancing at BPAC because it’s one giant community where you can dance with all your friends. I enjoy assisting the Level 2 dancers because they are funny and make me laugh.”
Skye
Skye is our Level 1 representative for Student of the Month. Skye is a talented dancer! She is a fierce performer and is a fantastic actor on stage. She loves to learn new leaps and turns and practices them in the studio on her own time. She is a teacher assistant for our acro class and loves to help the “littles”.
Skye had this to say about dance: “I love to dance because it’s very fun! I have a lot of friends at the studio, and I enjoy learning new dances. My favorite style of dance is jazz because I like the technique. I love dancing at BPAC because everyone is so nice. I don’t feel rushed to learn new skills. I can learn at my own pace. I love BPAC!”
maya
Maya is a Level 2 dancer and is excited to be Student of the Month! Maya is in the fourth grade and attends Vienna Elementary School. She takes classes in ballet, jazz, and tap. Maya is an attentive listener in class and always performs to the best of her ability. She has the sweetest heart for her friends and teachers. Maya recently took up tap and has a natural talent for it! She learns quickly when trying new steps.
Here’s what Maya said about dance: “At first, I didn’t think dance was for me. My little sister Lily convinced me to dance and told me dancing was fun. My first recital was The Little Mermaid. I learned that dance was for me! My favorite style of dance is ballet because it is graceful. I like dancing at BPAC because it’s fun and I like my teachers.”
ELOISE
The spotlight is on this sweet Level 3 dancer, Eloise. Eloise loves coming to dance and wishes she could dance at the studio 24/7. Despite her broken arm, nothing stopped her from dancing. Eloise is always happy and smiling when she’s moving!
Eloise likes to dance “because I like doing all the fun moves. My favorite move is kicking (battements). My favorite style of dance is tap because I like how our tap shoes make sounds. I like how we can dance around and do fun games. I like it when we practice our dances.”

Last but not least, Addy is our Preschool representative for Student of the Month! Addy’s love of dance is infectious. She is excited to learn new dance moves and practice them anywhere she goes. Keep shining bright, Addy!
Addy said this about dancing: “I like dancing because it’s fun! I like to do spins. I am looking forward to being on the big stage for The Nutcracker.”
